The Manage Sales Order screen allows users to search, review, update, and track Sales Orders within C2W Inventory.
From this screen, users can manage order details, track fulfillment progress, review picking activity, manage payment status, batch print Sales Orders, and access related sales records.
Important
Always click Save after making changes to a Sales Order.
Managing Sales Orders
Search Sales Orders
Users can quickly locate Sales Orders using search filters.
You can search Sales Orders by:
- Sales Order Number
- Customer
- Customer PO Number / Reference Number
- Order Date
- Status
- Payment Status
Customer PO Number / Reference Number
Users can record the customer’s PO Number or reference number on the Sales Order screen.
This allows users to search for the Sales Order using either:
- The Sales Order Number created by C2W Inventory
- The customer’s PO Number / reference number
This is useful when customers refer to their own PO Number instead of the C2W Sales Order Number.
Edit Sales Order Information
Once a Sales Order is selected, users can update order details if needed.
Users can update:
- Customer information
- Sales Order details
- Item quantities
- Unit price
- Discount
- Freight amount
- Taxing Scheme
- Remarks
⚠ Note: If the Sales Order has already been picked, shipped, or paid, review the related records before making changes.
Sales Order Status
C2W Inventory tracks different status types for Sales Orders.
Inventory Status
Inventory Status reflects the fulfillment progress of the Sales Order.
Common statuses may include:
- Unfulfilled
- Started
- Fulfilled
Once items are picked, the picked quantity is deducted from inventory automatically.
Payment Status
Payment Status reflects the customer payment progress.
Common statuses include:
- Unpaid
- Paid
Pick Sales Orders
Users can start the picking workflow from the Manage Sales Order screen when the order is ready to be picked.
From the selected Sales Order, users can click Pick SO to open the Sales Order Picking screen.

Picking Records
Users can review picking records related to the selected Sales Order.
This helps users:
- Review picked quantities
- Verify picked items
- Track picking history
- Confirm warehouse activity

Shipment
Creating a shipment is optional.
Once a Sales Order is picked, the order is considered fulfilled, and the picked quantity is deducted from inventory automatically.
Users only need to create a shipment if they want to:
- Record shipping details
- Generate a shipping label
- Add or track shipment information
- Review shipment history

Batch Print Sales Orders
Users can use the Batch Print Sales Orders button to print multiple Sales Orders within a selected date range.
This is useful for:
- Daily order processing
- Warehouse preparation
- Printing multiple Sales Orders at once
- Record keeping
Users can select a date range, then print the Sales Orders that fall within that period.
Print and Email Documents
Users can print or email individual Sales Order-related documents from the selected Sales Order.
Available documents may include:
- Sales Order
- Invoice
- Receipt
- Packing List
- Pallet Label

Payment Management
Users can manage customer payment activity from the Sales Order workflow.
If payment has been completed, users can mark the Sales Order as paid.
If a payment was recorded by mistake, users can reverse the payment status if needed.
Order History and Customer Activity
Sales Orders are connected to customer history.
This helps users:
- Review customer purchasing activity
- Track previous orders
- Check payment history
- Review shipment activity
- Support customer service questions
Best Practice
Before updating a Sales Order, check:
- Customer information
- Item quantities
- Picking status
- Payment status
- Related inventory movement
- Customer PO Number / Reference Number
This helps prevent fulfillment, inventory, and payment tracking errors.
