How to Enable Auto Complete Manufacturing Orders
The Auto Complete Manufacturing Order (Auto Complete MO) feature allows businesses to automatically create and complete a Manufacturing Order in a single action.
This feature is designed for businesses that do not need to track work-in-progress manufacturing.
When enabled:
- Clicking Save immediately creates and completes the Manufacturing Order.
- Finished product inventory is added automatically.
- Component inventory is deducted automatically.
- Inventory movement records are created automatically.
- The Save + Complete button is hidden because it is no longer needed.
Before You Start
Before enabling Auto Complete MO, make sure:
- Your products already have a Bill of Materials (BOM) configured.
- Your manufacturing process is typically completed immediately.
- You do not need to track products that are still being manufactured.
- Component inventory is available before manufacturing begins.
Enable Auto Complete Manufacturing Orders
The setting takes effect immediately.
What Changes After Enabling Auto Complete MO?
- The Save + Complete button will no longer be visible on the Add Manufacturing Order screen.
- Clicking Save automatically creates and completes the Manufacturing Order.
- Finished product inventory is added immediately.
- Component inventory is deducted immediately.
- Inventory transactions are recorded automatically.

Simply return to: Settings → Company Profile → Settings and uncheck Auto Complete MO.
The system will immediately return to the standard manufacturing workflow where users can choose between Save and Save + Complete.

When Auto Complete MO is enabled and users click Save:
- Finished product inventory increases immediately.
- Component inventory decreases immediately.
- Inventory movement records are created automatically.
- The Manufacturing Order is automatically marked as completed.
No additional action is required.
