The Sales Order import allows users to batch import customer orders into C2W Inventory using an Excel template.
This is useful when moving Sales Orders from another system, importing customer order data from Excel, or creating multiple Sales Orders at once.
The full Sales Order import template includes customer information, billing and shipping details, order-level information, item details, quantity, unit price, tax, freight, discount, and description.

- Item Number must match an existing item in C2W Inventory.
- Quantity and Unit Price must be entered correctly.
- If multiple rows belong to the same Sales Order, use the same Sales Order Number for those rows.
- If Sales Order Number is left blank, the system may create a new Sales Order number automatically, depending on the import setup.

Verify Imported Sales Orders
After importing, users can verify the imported Sales Orders from:
Sales > Manage Sales Orders
Users can search by Sales Order Number, Customer, or Customer PO Number if included.
Best Practice
Before importing, check that:
- Customer names are correct
- Item numbers match existing items
- Quantities are correct
- Unit prices are correct
- Sales Order numbers are consistent for multi-line orders
- Billing and shipping addresses are accurate
- Freight, discount, tax rate, and tax amount are correct
- The Excel file is saved and closed before uploading
This helps prevent import errors and keeps Sales Order records accurate.
Tip:
Use the full Sales Order import template when you need to import detailed customer order information, including billing, shipping, tax, freight, discount, and item details.
