The Customer import allows users to batch import customer records into C2W Inventory using an Excel template.
This is useful when setting up the system for the first time or moving customer data from another system.
Users can import customer information such as contact details, billing addresses, shipping addresses, currency, tax information, payment terms, location, billing email, shipping email, and discount.
Open the Import Data Screen
Fill in the Excel Template
The Customer import template may include the following fields:
- The yellow highlighted column is mandatory.
- For the Customer template, Name is mandatory.

Save and Upload the Template
Verify Imported Customers
After importing, users can verify the imported customer records from:
Sales > Manage Customers
Users can search for the imported customer and confirm that the customer information was imported correctly.

Before importing, check that:

- Name is filled in
- Customer names are spelled correctly
- Email addresses are entered correctly
- Billing and shipping addresses are accurate
- Currency is correct
- Tax information is correct
- Payment terms and payment method are correct
- Location is correct if used

- Discount is entered correctly if used
- The Excel file is saved and closed before uploading
