How to Find, Deactivate, and Reactivate Products

C2W Inventory keeps deactivated products in the system so you can find and reactivate them later when needed. You can easily switch between active and deactivated products from the Manage Item screen.

If you need to change a SKU/Product Name, you can use Copy to create a new product with the new SKU/Product Name without reentering all of the product information.

Find Deactivated Products

From the Main Menu, navigate to Inventory > Item.

On the Manage Item screen, locate the Active toggle in the Search section.

When the Active toggle is blue, the list displays active products.

Click the toggle so it turns gray to display deactivated products.

Search for or select the product you want to view.

Deactivate a Product

Make sure the Active toggle is blue to display active products.

Search for and select the product you want to deactivate.

Click Deactivate at the top of the Manage Item screen.

The product will no longer appear in your active product list, but its record remains available in C2W Inventory.

Note

Products cannot be permanently deleted. If you no longer need a product, deactivate it instead.

Reactivate a Product

Click the Active toggle so it turns gray to display deactivated products.

Search for and select the product you want to reactivate.

Click Re-Activate.

The product will return to your active product list.

Need to Change a SKU/Product Name?

A product’s SKU/Product Name is unique in C2W Inventory and cannot be changed after the product has been created.

If you need to change it, use Copy to create a new product with the new SKU/Product Name while keeping the existing product information.

Open the product whose SKU/Product Name you want to change.

Click Copy.

Enter the new SKU/Product Name.

Review the copied information and make any other changes as needed.

Click Save to create the new product.

Deactivate the original product if it is no longer needed.
