How to Set Up a Label Printer in C2W Inventory

Before printing item labels from C2W Inventory, make sure your label printer is properly connected to your computer and configured with the correct label size. C2W Inventory can work with your preferred label printer. Thermal label printers such as Zebra, Brother, and Dymo are commonly used for fast and efficient label printing.

Before You Start

Make sure you have:

  • Your label printer connected to the computer
  • The correct printer driver installed
  • The width and height of the labels you are using

Set Up Your Label Printer

Connect the label printer to your computer and install the required printer driver. If the driver is not already installed, download and install the latest driver from your printer manufacturer’s website.

01
Open the Windows Control Panel.
02
Navigate to Hardware and Sound > Devices and Printers.
03
Find your label printer, right-click it, and select Printing Preferences.

Set the label width and height to match the physical labels loaded in your printer. For example, if you are using 2″ × 1″ labels, set the label size to 2 inches wide × 1 inch high.

Save the printer settings. Your label printer is now ready to use with C2W Inventory.

Important

The label size configured in your printer settings should match the physical label size you are using. Incorrect dimensions may cause labels to print with the wrong size, alignment, or spacing.

Next Step: Print an Item Label

Once your printer is configured, you can select it from the Printer dropdown on the C2W Inventory Item Label screen.

See How to Configure and Print Item Labels to learn how to customize the label, generate a preview, and print it.
