The Serial No import allows users to batch import serial numbers for items in C2W Inventory using an Excel template.
This is useful when users need to track individual units by serial number, such as equipment, electronics, tools, watches, machines, or other serialized products.
Open the Import Data Screen
Fill in the Excel Template
Enter the serial number information into the template.
The yellow highlighted columns are mandatory.
For the Serial No template, required fields include:
- ItemNo
- SerialNo

Important Notes
- ItemNo should match an existing item in C2W Inventory.
- SerialNo should be entered for each serialized unit.
- Each serial number should be unique for the item.

Verify Imported Serial Numbers
After importing, users can verify the serial numbers from the related item or inventory records.
Users can also use serial numbers when tracking serialized inventory in purchasing, receiving, sales, picking, or inventory management workflows.
Best Practice
Before importing, check that:
- ItemNo matches an existing item
- SerialNo is filled in
- Serial numbers are unique
- The Excel file is saved and closed before uploading
This helps prevent import errors and keeps serialized inventory accurate.
